The Southwest Healthcare Medical Education Consortium residency and fellowship programs are based out of the California regional hospitals that are part of the Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) Acute Care Division, including Temecula Valley Hospital, Corona Regional Medical Center, Palmdale Regional Medical Center, Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital and Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital. Approved programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Our programs provide diverse, first-hand clinical training experience coupled with didactics, research opportunities and involvement in hospital operations to prepare residents to pursue the next step in their careers, from full-time clinical practice to teaching, research, medical leadership or further subspecialty training.

Residency orientation is designed to help prepare residents to successfully manage the clinical responsibilities of their internship year.
